Analogue and digital tachograph driving and rest time analysis software and tools

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration, hereafter referred to as the NPRA, requests with this document tender for delivery of necessary equipment and software to analyse and enforce infringements of the Regulation (EC) No 561/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15.3.2006 on the harmonisation of certain social legislation relating to road transport and amending council regulation (EEC) No 3821 and (EC) No 2135/98 and repealing Council regulation (EEC) No 3820/85.
The delivery shall include equipment, software licences / use rights and necessary documentation. The offered products must be in an operational state to serve the purpose specified. The NPRA intends to integrate the purchased system (by agreed formats) into our electronic system for vehicle and driver inspection (VADIS, the vehicle and driver inspection system).
The purpose of the system and tools in this purchase is to achieve more efficient and uniform enforcement of the regulation on driving and rest time from discs from analogue tachograph and driver cards and digital tachograph vehicle units.
