2011/05 - Transport arrangement for the libraries in Møre and Romsdal

Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune

Møre and Romsdal County, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, shall carry out a tender contest for transport of books, media and post between the libraries in the county, as well as the university colleges’ libraries in Molde, Volda and Ålesund and to libraries in other places in Norway and abroad. A joint transport arrangement will result in simplification of routines, predictability in relation to transport costs, better flow of media between the libraries and a major improvement of service to the users.
All tenders shall be delivered electronically via Mercell portal, www.mercell.no within the tender deadline. Tenders received after the tender deadline will be rejected (the Mercell system will not accept electronically delivered tenders subsequent to the tender deadline).

It is recommended that the tender is submitted well before the deadline for receipt of tenders, minimum 1 hour prior to the tender deadline. If there is additional information from the awarding authority which leads to changing the tender before the deadline expires, the tenderer can go in and open the tender and make any changes and send it in again right up until the deadline. The very last delivered tender will be regarded as the final tender.
The tender will need an electronic signature when submitted. The tenderer will be asked for electronic signature in order to confirm that it is the relevant tenderer who has submitted the tender. Electronic signature is available at www.commfides.com,www.buypass.no or www.bankid.no.
Attention is drawn to the fact that it may take a few days to get an electronic signature. This means that this process should be initiated ASAP.
