The Life Sciences Building will be a shared facility for leading university and hospital environments within life sciences, thereby ensuring Norway's international competitiveness in this field. Both the University of Oslo and the Clinic for Laboratory Medicine (KLM) at Oslo University Hospital will be located here. The co-location will strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and research in the life sciences, and facilitate new ground-breaking solutions and new jobs.

The project will include the procurement of Laboratory washing machines of various types and sizes.
The equipment units in this contest will be located at UiO and OUS' premises and will be used by UiO and OUS. Consequently, the contracts with the relevant number of articles will be transferred from Statsbygg to UiO or OUS. Upon the transfer, UiO and OUS will enter into Statsbygg's rights and obligations under the contract. Matters relating to complaints etc. will most likely be handled by UiO and OUS.

As a result, the contracts with the relevant number of articles will be transferred from Statsbygg to UiO or OUS. The University of Oslo and Oslo will enter into the Directorate of Public Construction and Property ́s rights and obligations in accordance with the contract. Conditions related to claims etc. will most likely be dealt with by UiO and OUS.
